****Websense****

A copy of the policy that Toronto Catholic District School Board uses to protect the safety of its students from possible dangers lurking on the Internet. This program, called Websense, is designed to filter inappropriate Web Sites based on the Acceptable Use Policy that is in effect.

Cyber Safety Online Reference (TCDSB version)

1.Go to the TCDSB website
Type: http://www.tcdsb.org/
2.Click the "Staff" link on the left side of the website (3rd from the top):
3. On the Staff page, click on "Home Access to Intranet" on the left side of the page (12th item from the top)

4.You will be taken to the TCDSB Secure Access login page ... Write your username and password
5.Once you login, you'll be taken to the "Secure Access SSL VPN): Click on **TCDSB Intranet Web Site**

6.You're now in the TCDSB Intranet ...From here, click on the Academic ICT link under Departments

7.You're now in the Academic ICT web page ... Click on "Cyber Safety" on the right side of the page under the Navigation heading
8. You are now in the Cyber site … click on the links that interest you!
